This picture in particular is a project that I am working on for my Digital Imaging Course. We have to take a 2-D cartoon/animated picture and make it 3-D. How do we do that? Through the paint brushes on Photoshop. On the left is the original image of a 1950’s Pinup girl and the one on the right is the one I drew out, which is still a work in progress. I wouldn’t say it is an exact replica to the original, but that is not the point. I wanted to take the original and somewhat restore it, correct it and add some flair. I will post the final piece by next week (which is due by then), so you all can see the progression of this project. This has been an off and on project for about 4 weeks now. It is a bit tedious since you are redrawing an image. I would have finished this in half the time but when you are assigned multiple projects to complete, you have to adequately budget your time.
